Reception : Until December 31
You have to imagine the Saint-Placide in Saint-Malo as a small cabinet of curiosities. You know, this amazing place where the master of the place deposits his favorites drawn from all over the world, precious objects in his eyes, unpublished pieces...
To open a cabinet of curiosities you must obviously be curious, and a traveler. On the plate and in the room, the Saint-Placide comes close.
It looks like a gourmet cabinet of curiosities.
Far from being yet another starred restaurant in Brittany, the Saint-Placide has a soul, and owes it to Isabelle and Luc Mobihan.
A waiter and wine maid and a kitchen man who do not accumulate the latest trends to appear so. No, here, we do not bend to fashions, but to personal desires, real favorites.
Because these two catering professionals love encounters, the arts, beautiful and good things. They know how to travel, particularly in the islands, in Bréhat, in Corsica where Isabelle is from, and especially in the Indian Ocean with Mauritius and the Seychelles as favorites.
They recharge their batteries, immerse themselves in them and bring them to life right down to their Saint-Malo plates where the chef likes to embellish his plates with citrus fruits or lemongrass.
Gourmet restaurant referenced by the Bottin Gourmand, Champérard, Gault et Millau, Michelin and Pudlo guides.
Cooking workshops by reservation (8 people maximum)
