"Malouin-Malouine is a love declaration to the native town of its designer."
Marie-Sophie Bréguë, graphic designer and Parisian by adoption, never broke the lines with Saint-Malo, her native town in French Brittany. Inspired by the history of the corsair city and its seascapes, she created 7 years ago the first design of MALOUIN-MALOUINE, then a tote bag that pleased her friends and encouraged her to launch.
Today, the collection is composed of t-shirts and sweatshirts all soft organic cotton, for man and woman. Some models are unisex. Also present, tote-bags with graphic prints and a collection "Petit Malouin-Malouine" for kids and babies.
Printed in France and French Brittany, Malouin-Malouine is a conscious brand. This means the products are both respectful of workers and environment. Organic cotton used in textile composition is traced and labeled. The fabrics are woven and assembled in Asia in workshops audited by the Fair Wear Foundation (Ethical Trade and Justice for Workers). Some of these workshops use wind and solar energy.
You can find Malouin-Malouine on e-shop malouin-malouine.com, in France at multi-brand shops in Saint-Malo as Ouest Côte and Nanna Bazaar.
