Transformed into a coastal defense fort between 1690 and 1715, the castle of La Roche Goyon remains above all a fortified castle. The 14th century defensive system is still in place.
Exceptional site and panorama.
The walls, gatehouses, barbican, towers, dungeons, dungeon, furnace to redden iron balls have survived the centuries.
Bricole, cannons, crossbows recall its military past.
Its chapel is dedicated to Saint-Michel. Medieval garden, labyrinth and vegetable garden enhance the visit.
Open daily from April 1 to September 30.

The castle is closed on December 25 and all the month of January.
