Reception : Until January 5
The Mathurin Méheut museum welcomes visitors to a new space in the heart of the Lamballe-Armor stud farm.
A painter, designer, illustrator, ceramist and decorator, Mathurin Méheut (1882-1958) used very diverse artistic media and techniques during his career. Gifted with a great sense of observation and boundless curiosity, the artist is emblematic of Brittany, to which he has devoted a prolific documentary work, composed of landscapes and scenes of life. But his work also reflects his multiple travels, in France and abroad. The permanent route is divided into major themes dear to Mathurin Méheut and is enriched with multimedia supports for an interactive visit.
Every year, a temporary exhibition allows you to discover Mathurin Méheut from another side.
