The Madeleine lock keeper's house, built in the Napoleonic era, is included in the exceptional site of the 11 locks. The museography traces the construction and life of the canal through a collection of photos, models, archival documents and objects spanning 200 years of river history. A video presents contemporary aspects of the Ille-et-Rance Canal.
