Memorial 39-45 is installed in a set of German bunkers built in the courtyard of the old fort of the City of Alet. A collection of nearly 1,500 objects!

The "history" course in the anti-aircraft defense bunker (3 floors) allows you to understand: the invasion of 1940, the use of the port, the construction of the bunkers, the City of Alet, the battle for Liberation, Cézembre, the reconstruction of the City
The “discovery of the fortifications” visit is an indoor/outdoor tour oriented towards the 18th century fort, the steel turrets: installation, combat techniques, the machine gun bunker (3 rooms): operation, daily life, the bunker artillery fire direction recently restored with the support of the Bern Mission, the Heritage Foundation and the Française des Jeux (7 pieces): fire adjustment, transmissions, observation of the bay.
