To become a sea rescuer SNSM and monitor the beaches must follow and meet several formations.
First Aid PSC1 and 2; National Certificate of Safety and Aquatic Rescue, Coastal Permit, Restricted Certificate of Radiotelephone Operator and a training course in Aquatic Surveillance and Rescue in the coastal environment with mention of piloting.
